Windhoek, 20 June 2018: Lt Gen (Rtd) Epaphras Denga Ndaitwah, former Chief of the Namibian Defence Force donated 60 books worth N$ 90 000.00 to the Ministry of Defence.  The collection of two books titled: (1) A life and Views of a Soldier; Authors Perspective, and (2) Strategic Leadership and Management the Direction Pointers; Effective and Enabling Instruments to overcome Challenges of the 21st Century  were received by Hon. Billy Mwaningange, Deputy Minister of Defence  on behalf of the Ministry.

 The donated books will be distributed to various NDF Libraries. The retired General encouraged members of the Defence to  read the donated books in order to understand the complexity of strategic management in relations to military perspective. He also encouraged them to develop a reading culture.

 Meanwhile, Hon. Mwaningange applauded Gen Ndaitwah for a generous donation stating that the books will benefit all MOD members. He challenged the members to embrace a culture of reading and writing books as demonstrated by the retired General whose books will be available in the NDF libraries and establishments.
